Monitoring Configuration

In order to detect bot activity, Netacea monitors HTTP request traffic using the Netacea supplied iRules.

Using the Netacea iRules, there is no requirement to set up a separate ingest logging. The worker has the ability to operate in ingest-only mode. This means that no mitigating actions will take place.

Instructions

To implement the F5 integration into monitoring mode you will need to follow all instructions found in the "Installation and Configuration" section.

As there is no separate ingest logging, to configure the F5 integration into monitoring mode the "netacea_ingest" iRule will need to be enabled. Full details/instructions can be found in the "Installation and Configuration" section.
